School is back in full swing with football season, bonfires, scarves, and hot chocolate weather soon to follow! With that in mind, it is time to start planning our annual Peanut Carnival which will be Wednesday, October 26th. I am looking forward to a great time with our families and church friends! This year, I am asking for your help in volunteering and providing some materials to help us all enjoy our time together. Following is a list of items needed if you are interested in assisting:
Volunteer to oversee/provide hay rides
Volunteer to run popcorn machine
Cakes, cupcakes, brownies, etc. for cake walk
2 liter cokes, juices, Capri Sun pouches, etc. for ring toss
Pumpkins (all sizes)
Bags of candy and small prizes
Bales of hay
Bags of candy corn
If anyone is interested or willing to lend a karaoke machine or a corn hole set we would love to borrow those!
Overall, I want to make this an enjoyable time of fellowship for everyone church-wide. To make this possible, we will be hosting a variety of other events such as a costume contest in multiple categories (for children and adults!), a dunking tank, giant jenga and trivia about some of our Westminster members.
